Historical Who is Who

FICHTE, Johann Gottlieb

1762 - 1814

Johann Gottlieb Fichte, disciple of Kant, is known as the philosopher of the human ego, even the German ego, both enacted into consciousness. He constructed a system of ethics based on this foundation. He also developed an argument based on John’s Gospel in the New Testament that Jesus was not Jewish and calls into question any truth in Judaism.
