conflict theory

this is a critical view of the predominant order of civilisations, claiming that they are afflicted by an unequal distribution of power and resources. On this perspective, schools and universities, as much as families, banks, business organisations and national governments will perpetuate this condition unless radically challenged. Accordingly, it is the proper role of moral education to expose and challenge inequalities by raising awareness of the latent potential of every individual and empower them to join with others in exercising power in a steely disciplined and non-belligerent way.
